Peloton Instructor and Training Specialist

Matt Wilpers has been a Peloton Instructor and Training Specialist since 2016 and is well known for his science-based approach to training including the development of Peloton’s Power Zone Training model. He has competed in many sports however his top performances are in distance running where he competed for four years as a NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track distance runner for Georgia State University.

Matt has been coaching runners, cyclists and triathletes of all ability levels since 2008 and co-founded a virtual coaching and bike fit business called Team Wilpers. As a former CPA and pre-med student, he believes that a technical and hands-on coaching approach in combination with a fun and positive training atmosphere brings out the best performances in his athletes.
